General Questions

Boyd’s Key West Campground is located at:

We’re on Stock Island, just 5 miles from Duval Street and the heart of Key West.

Our front office is open 7 days a week from 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM.

Check-in: 1:00 PM

Check-out: 11:00 AM

Early check-in and late check-out may be available upon request for an additional fee.

Yes! We are open 365 days a year and offer both seasonal and year-round camping.

Yes! Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the campground.

Reservations & Cancellation Policies

Reservations can be made through our online request form or by calling our office at (305) 294-1465.

A deposit is required at the time of booking. The amount depends on the length of stay and site type.

At Boyd’s Key West Campground, we understand that plans can change. To ensure fairness while managing high demand—especially during our peak season—please review the following cancellation and deposit guidelines before booking:

Daily Reservations (6 nights or less)

  • Deposit required at time of booking.
  • Cancellations are subject to a $25 cancellation fee.
  • 7-day notice required for a refund of the remaining deposit.
  • Cancellations within 7 days of arrival forfeit the entire deposit.
  • No-shows are treated as cancellations and result in full deposit loss.
  • Fantasy Fest & Holiday Exception: For daily reservations during Fantasy Fest or between Christmas and New Year’s, a 14-day notice is required for any refund.

Weekly Reservations (7 nights or more)

  • 20% of the deposit is non-refundable.
  • 7-day notice required for a refund of the remaining 80%.
  • Cancellations within 7 days of arrival forfeit the full deposit.
  • No-shows result in complete deposit forfeiture.
  • Fantasy Fest & Holiday Exception: 14-day notice required for any refund.

Monthly Reservations

  • Monthly deposits are $500 per month, with 20% non-refundable.
  • 30-day notice required for refund of the remaining deposit.
  • Cancellations within 30 days result in forfeiture of the full deposit.
  • No-shows forfeit the full deposit.
  • Arrival Date Changes: Not guaranteed; may result in waitlist status or deposit loss without management approval.

Yes, minimum stay requirements vary by season and site type:


Peak Season (Oct 15 – Apr 30): Weekly stays may be required for certain site types.


Fantasy Fest, Christmas & New Year’s: A 4-night minimum stay is required.

Extensions are based on availability. Please check with the office before 11:00 AM on your departure date.

RV, Tent, Tiny Home & RV Rentals

  1. Full Hook-Up RV Sites (Open Waterview, Dockside / Limited Waterfront, Inland)

  2. Tent Sites (Primitive Waterfront, Primitive Inland, Electric & Water Inland)

  3. Tiny Home Rentals (Sleeps 2 Adults only, no pets, no smoking)

  4. Travel Trailer Rentals (Sleeps up to 5, no pets, no smoking)

Campfires are allowed in designated fire rings only. No open fires are permitted elsewhere on the property. Charcoal and propane grills are allowed at your site for cooking.

Each site includes one vehicle. Additional vehicles require pre-approval and a fee.

Boyd’s can accommodate RVs up to 45 feet in select sites. Call ahead to confirm availability for larger rigs or trailers.

Pet Policy

Yes, Boyd’s is pet-friendly for RV and tent sites. However, pets are NOT allowed in Tiny Homes or RV Rentals.

The following dog breeds are restricted:

  1. Pit Bull-type breeds

  2. Doberman Pinschers

  3. Rottweilers

  4. Chows

  5. German Shepherds

  6. All Wolf Hybrids

  1. Pets must always be on a leash (max 6 feet).

  2. Owners must immediately clean up after their pets.

  3. Aggressive behavior or excessive barking is not allowed.

Yes! There is a dog walk area on-site.

Campground Rules & Policies

Quiet hours are from 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM.

  1. Visitors must register at the office upon arrival.

  2. All visitors must leave by 11:00 PM unless registered as overnight guests.

  1. Speed limit: 5 MPH throughout the campground.

  2. Golf Carts must be insured and registered with a tag or license plate.

  3. While personal electric carts are allowed, please note that Boyd’s rental carts are gas powered and permitted on-site.

  4. ATVs, dirt bikes, and gas-powered personal carts are not allowed.

  1. Fish must be cleaned at designated stations only.

  2. Washing RVs, boats, or vehicles on-site is not permitted.

Boating & Marina Services

Yes, we have an on-site boat ramp for guests.

Yes, boat slips are available for rent. Contact the office for pricing and availability.

Yes, we provide a designated fish cleaning station.
