Giving back has always been part of who we are. Since our founding in 1963, Boyd’s Key West Campground has proudly supported causes that strengthen the Florida Keys—especially those helping local families, youth, and those impacted by cancer.

We focus our philanthropic efforts on three key areas:
1. The Cancer Foundation of the Florida Keys
We help fund vital services for cancer patients across Monroe County, including financial assistance, screenings, emotional support, and referrals when no other help is available.

2. Sydney’s Hope Project
Created in honor of a brave young family and community member, this project brings joy and emotional uplift to children undergoing cancer treatment—through games, events, and special moments at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital and Camp UOTS.

3. Reelin’ for a Cause
Boyd’s is proud to support this annual charity fishing tournament, where anglers cast their lines for more than just the catch. Proceeds benefit multiple local causes, including youth programs, cancer support, and community wellness across the Florida Keys.

4. Local Student Scholarships
Each year, we award academic scholarships to graduating seniors at Key West High School—helping future leaders pursue careers in hospitality, environmental science, trades, and more.

Boyd’s staff often volunteer at community events like the Willy Wonka Chocolate Festival and the KEYS 100 Ultra-Marathon, both benefitting the Cancer Foundation.
